Constraints: Cryogenic operating temperatures, particularly small overall dimensions, very tight load tolerance, zero hysteresis.
   
Solution: Beryllium copper waved spring washers.
   
Borrelly added value: Characterisation of the design parameters and parameters for manufacturing at 20°C, to achieve a result that fully met the customer’s requirements at 50 K, right from the first prototype.
