A family business founded in 1933, with values spanning back over 4 generations.

Borrelly, in search of innovation for 4 generations

It all began in Lyon in 1933, in a small workshop specializing in general mechanics.
The founder of the A. Borrelly company, Alexandre was a passionate, meticulous, and ingenious mechanic.

His son Albert, just as inventive, took over the reins in July 1968, his focus, from the 70s onwards, was on the design and manufacturing of spring washers.

Driven by the same passion as his father, he grew Borrelly^®  into a firm appreciated for its technical know-how and expertise. Over the years, Borrelly became a reference and brand of choice for engineers working in the mechanical industry.

After Albert Borrelly’s sudden death in February 1990, his wife and two of his children (Agnès and Dominique) immediately took over the company, and further grew its reputation, to its current point of immediate brand recognition by leading names.

In 1998, Dominique Borrelly, accompanied by his wife Christel, took over the management, positioning Borrelly®  as the technical leader in its market.

We are EN 9100 and ISO 9001 certified, constantly renewed since 2004. Our Quality Department has an in-house control laboratory for optical, static, dimensional, dynamic, loads, deflections… from prototypes to large runs under conditions of 100% inspection.
